The sea of Ischia is not only crystal clear and abounding in fish but is also an amazing spectacle of differing depths.

In places, the depths are shallow and sandy, characterised by surfacing rocks hosting entire families of fish, while in other areas we find a mysteriously deep sea, hiding submerged seascapes among horny corals so red as to appear almost black and deep grottoes populated by shoals of silvery fish.
